Becoming a Successful E-learner

E-learning can be fun and flexible, as long as you make the unique environment work for you!  Following are tips for a successful start and experience in our e-pd workshop:

Preview the Course Content in the Learning Forum

All of the content for your workshop is presented in the main forum in the Orientation and Course Outline Module. You can view the course syllabus in the Welcome message within that module. You may wish to print out this syllabus as a handy guide as you move through your workshop.

Preview an e-pd Self-Paced or Group Study Workshop

Use the links to the right to jump into an existing Group-Study or Self-Paced Forum. Login to view all of the content with the username and password: demo.  

Use the Help Button

The e-pd learning forums have a Help button that can help you with most technical questions that you may have. Help is just a click away!

Ask Your Facilitator

Whether you are in the Group Study of Self-Paced workshop forum, your facilitator is there to help you!  If you have any questions as you move forward, do not hesitate to click Messages to send an e-mail to them and you will get a response right away!

Questions and Chat Room

You may also use the Questions forum to ask questions- especially if you feel that the answer would benefit the entire group! Your facilitator will post a response to questions posted in this forum within 24 hours. Questions of a more immediate nature should be e-mailed directly to the facilitator.

Take Advantage of the Flexibility!

The benefit of an e-pd workshop is that you can work where you want, when you want, and at the pace that is right for you. Choose the environment that suits you best and enjoy the experience!
